The Relationship of Parental Education in the Utilization of Maternal Health Books and Child

The Maternal and Child Health Book is a book that aims to improve the quality of maternal
and child health services so as to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates in Indonesia
(Ministry of Health RI and JICA, 2015). The purpose of this study was to determine the
relationship between parental education and the use of maternal and child health books. This
study uses a descriptive analytical research method with a cross sectional approach and the
technique of taking the sample is Total Sampling, the measuring instrument is using a
questionnaire. The results of the study found that most of the respondents based on education in the high category were 57.1% while the middle category was 42, 9%. The result of this study is that there is a relationship between education and the use of maternal and child health books with a p value of 0.000 (<0.05). Education in the high category was 57.1% while

It is suggested in this study, it is hoped that in future The Importance of Family’s Role in the Children Development research improvements can be made by examining various other factors that may affect the use of Maternal and Child Health books, as well as revealing more about the causes of failure and success in the use of Maternal and Child Health books. In order to get more accurate results, it is also hoped that further research will increase the number of research samples.
